DAY 2

Now starts the test. I woke up this morning and my thighs were on fire! I knew if I didn't do the workout right then, I wouldnt do it later, so thats just what I did I pushed the table out of our little living room and said goodmorning to Jillian Michaels for Day 2 of the 30 day shred, and holy cow I have been so sore all day.I even did some short bike riding to school and back to add onto the burn. But this is the part that counts right? "Pain is only temporary" I want to be active, I want to be clear minded, I want to get going again. This pain is just like pushing on the gunk out of my life in order to clean and clear out a way for a healthy clear amazing lifestyle. I have only 8 more days of Level 1... Ill get there lol. I am also going to start powerwalking early in the morning a few days a week with my best friend. What better way to start off a day than to clear your mind with the cool morning air right?

As far as eating goes...
I need some creative ideas. I realize I come home from school exhausted, lots of hw to do and not much in the mood for making a fancy healthy meal. Any ideas on energizing foods? I am so exhausted all the time its a little ridiculus.
For breakfast I had: a whole wheat english muffin, some canned peaches and a big glass of milk,
lunch: I had a cheese crisp with some salsa and sour cream
Dinner: Im thinking of making up some pasta with the sauce I made a couple days ago. It is full of a bunch of vegies I got from market on the move. I got 30 lbs of produce for 5 bucks! Amazing! So now I have a bunch of cucumber, squash, tomatoes, and cantelope that I need to come up with good recipes for.. Ideas? Maybe I will heat up some broccoli to go with the pasta also :) Lots of vegies tonight!
