DAY 1 TO A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE
Exercise:
What brought me to this desire to change was the test I took today. I was sooo tired, felt bleh and I really could not think.... (guess my grade will attest to that) came home and all I wanted to do was eat chocolate and watch a movie... umm... if stress is leading me to junk and screens it is time to change something. So when Matt left for class I got to thinking. I want to go above an beyond in life. I want to be an amazing dietitian, I want to help others, but how am I supposed to be an example when I am at home moping around eating a Hershey's bar, a cupcake and watching shows? So day 1! I turned on Jillian Michaels 30 day Shred video step 1. So for the next 30 days Jillian Michaels is my best friend/enemy ( depending on what part of the workout I am at). Wish me luck! "Time to get shredded" as Jillian says! :D
Diet:
Now exercise is super important but so is what I put into my body. So starting today I will make a food journal...Breakfast: a wheat English muffin with butter, 5 pieces of cantaloupe and a glass of milk.
Lunch: Big bowl of mother in laws leftover lasagna
Snack: 32 oz bottle of Gatorade, a Hershey's bar, a pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese frosting
Dinner: ( havent eaten yet but now I know what I am allowed to eat, hehe) maybe stir fry some frozen broccoli and squash and put it on some white rice topped with Worcestershire sauce

Now I am a dietetics major, but I haven't gotten into many nutrition classes yet. So any ideas and advice on some healthy tasty recipes? Please reply to this post! :D Love ya guys! Talk to you tomorrow!
so, when you make the spice cake, make 4 small ones and give them to you visiting teaching sisters, or the families your husband home teaches.... :) just lick the beaters for the frosting! LOL

Can't remember the name of it, but look on my facebook. :D I'm doing a challenge to tame my sweet tooth (it's working well - I'm sitting here eating popcorn with white chocolate drizzled on it with candy corns :D)
