Sweet Tooth: Cure number 1

ok, so one of my best friends suggested this topic.. healthy choices for desserts. Which is pretty ironic cause I've had a crazy sweet tooth the past couple days. So healthy choices.. want to hear my personal opinion, sweet tooths are natural.. yah you heard me :) Want to hear another opinion, our teeth dont need sugary cookies and cake all the time. So what do they need??? Cause right now, I know I NEED something sweet. But how to stay healthy? .... can I say something real quick? HEALTHY DOESNT HAVE TO TASTE BITTER YOU GUYS.... just had to get that out there. People think 'ok Ive done good all week, Ill splurge on something unhealthy to make my sweet tooth happy'... what if you made your sweet tooth happy along with every other part of your body?? woah! who would have thought, right? Crazy as it might seem, but God created plants that have a NATURAL sweetener in them. No not those 'natural sweeteners' that come in little packages that people put in their coffee (which I hope you aren't drinking that health forbidden drink anyways..). No, there are these things called fruit, that have this thing called fructose (and because Im a total chem lover its formula is C 6 H 12 O 6 )... which is a sugar that can actualy help maintain a healthy weight because of its low glycemic index number. It gives you more energy than sucrose (cane sugar) so in turn you can burn more calories. The cool thing about it being a natural sugar is that God created fruits, so He knew exactly how much fructose should be in each piece to be at the exact healthy level where bodies can absorb it easily! (Oh and another quick point, when I say natural, I mean natural, the benefits of fructose are not the same when it is processed and put in different foods, so when you read 'fructose' on the ingredient list of something, don't let it deceive you.) Thats the whole neat thing about going natural, God is the ultimate dietician and is pretty much the only one who actually knows what they are doing. Want to hear another secret? Fructose is sweeter than sucrose... healthier and sweeter? I like the sound of that! Fruit is probably the most perfect cure for a sweet tooth. You can do so much with them and be in heaven throughout the whole thing. You know how many recipes there are for fruit salads, fruit kabobs, fruit bars, parfeits, fruit muffins, other breads with fruit, etc.? There are approximately... just kidding you cant look up how many there are but seriously! there are millions of recipes! No excuses! I mean heck you dont even need a recipe, just grab a ripe plum and take a bite, your sweet tooth will be cured within moments. :) guarenteed! I have this book called The Top 100 Recipes for a healthy Lunchbox, and it is amazing, there are some super good looking recipes and I will post them as I try them but if they turn out to be as amazing as they look, my theory of fruit sweet tooth satisfyers (yes I make up my own official sounding terms, dont judge ;) ) will be proven. If you have a good fruit recipe please let me know! I would love to try as many out as possible. :) Help me out here :) Now this is only cure 1, Im going to find some other healthy dessert options later on, but try this out, next time you have a sweet tooth, grab a ripe piece of fruit, enjoy every minute of it and tell me how it goes!
